When the matter was called on 11.07.2016, there was no representation for the petitioner, as such, this Court adjourned the matter by two weeks. Subsequently, on 27.12.2016, there was no representation for the petitioner, as such, this Court directed the matter to be listed under the caption 'for dismissal'.

Even today, when the matter is called, none appears for the petitioner. This indicates that the petitioner herein has no interest in prosecuting the writ petition. In view of the above, writ petition is dismissed for non-prosecution. Interim order, if any, stands vacated. Miscellaneous petitions pending consideration, if any, in the Writ Petition shall stand closed in consequence. No order as to costs.
