HONOURABLE SRI JUSTICE RAJA ELANGO WRIT PETITION No.35565 of 2016 ORDER:

This writ petition is filed seeking to declare the action of the 1st respondent in registering the Crime No.155 of 2016, as illegal and arbitrary.

Heard and perused the material available on record. The main grievance of the petitioners is that the 2nd respondent approached the 1st respondent police station and lodged a complaint against the petitioners and the same was registered as Crime No.155 of 2016. It is the case of the petitioners that the 2nd respondent approached the Kharkhana Police Station to settle civil disputes requesting the Kharkhana Police Station to ensure that she was given half of the building belonging to the petitioners.

Considering the grievance of the petitioners, the 1st respondent is directed to complete the investigation in Crime No.155 of 2016, as expeditiously as possible and file a final report, if any, either way in accordance with law, without arresting the petitioners.

Accordingly, the Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs. Pending Miscellaneous Petitions, if any, shall stand closed. ____________________ RAJA ELANGO, J Date: 21st October, 2016 KL
