HON'BLE SRI JUSTI CE A. RAMALI NGESWARA RAO Writ Petition No. 370 of 2017 Order:
This Writ Petition was filed challenging the action of the fourth respondent in not registering the complaint dated 15.11.2016 and not conducting the investigation.
Today, when the matter is taken up for consideration, none appeared for the petitioner. But, the learned Government Pleader for Home, on the basis of written instructions, submits that on receipt of the complaint dated 15.11.2016 through registered post on 21.11.2016 from the petitioner, the petitioner was called to the fourth respondent Police Station and accordingly the petitioner was present in the Police Station on 31.12.2016. He gave a written complaint in respect of the alleged incident dated 14.11.2016. Basing on the same, Crime No.177 of 2016 dated 31.12.2016 was registered under Sections 341, 323 and 506 read with 34 IPC and Section 3(1)(s) of the Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes (Prevention of Atrocities) Amendment Act, 2015 against one Pulluru Krishna Reddy and another and investigation is under progress. In view of the same, no further orders are necessary in the present Writ petition and the Writ Petition is, accordingly, closed. There shall be no order as to costs.
As a sequel thereto, the miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in this Writ Petition shall stand closed.
