THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE SANJAY KUMAR CONTEMPT CASE No.1785 of 2015 ORDER:

This contempt case was instituted alleging disobedience to the order dated 17.06.2015 passed by this Court in W.P.No.17306 of 2015. By the said order, the Tahsildar, Madanapalle, Chittoor District, was directed to consider the petitioner's application in accordance with law and take appropriate action thereon within a timeframe. It is now stated that the Tahsildar, Madanapalle, has issued endorsement dated 04.08.2015 rejecting the request of the petitioner for grant of a pattadar passbook for the reasons stated therein. In the event the petitioner is aggrieved by the said endorsement, his remedy lies elsewhere and the same cannot be made the subject matter of this contempt proceeding.

The contempt case is accordingly dismissed. No order as to costs.
