THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE A.ABHISHEK REDDY WRIT PETITION No.36804 of 2012 ORDER:

This Writ Petition is filed seeking to declare the action of the respondents in not granting the selection grade scale stagnation increments as per circular instruction vide circular No.PD-04/2011, dated 12.01.2011 to the petitioner on completion of 20 years of service, as illegal and arbitrary. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and Sri Thoom Srinivas, learned Standing Counsel for the respondent Corporation.

Learned counsel has drawn the attention of this Court to the order dated 17.06.2015 passed in W.P. No.16932 of 2015 wherein the respondent Corporation was directed to consider the case of the petitioners therein for granting special grade increments on completion of twenty years of service by considering their total service in the Corporation irrespective of the regions. Learned counsel has stated that the case of the petitioner stands on similar footing as that of the petitioners in W.P. No.16932 of 2015 and therefore prayed for passing similar order in the present writ petition.

AAR, J Having regard to the above made submission and for the reasons alike in the order dated 17.06.2015 passed in W.P. No.16932 of 2015, this Writ Petition is allowed directing the respondent Corporation to consider the case of the petitioner for granting special grade increments on completion of twenty years of service by considering the total service of the petitioner in the Corporation irrespective of the regions and pass appropriate orders within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
