Petitioner claims that his grand father purchased agricultural land to an extent of Ac.1.42 cents in Survey No.170 of Yerragunta Village, Renigunta Mandal, Chittoor District, and after demise of his grand father, he succeeded to the said property. According to the petitioner, he made a representation on 31.10.2011 for issuance of pattadar passbook, but the same was not issued. Alleging that several representations were made, but as the same were not responded, finally he made an application on 10.10.2016 in accordance with Form VI-A of the Andhra Pradesh Rights in Land and Pattadar Passbooks Act, 1971, and as there was no response, this Writ Petition is filed. 2.

When the matter is taken up for consideration, learned Government Pleader for Revenue produced the written instructions furnished to him. A reading of the said written instructions would show that on 13.01.2015, petitioner made representation to the Hon'ble Chief Minister, which was forwarded to the Collector, Chittoor District, vide endorsement dated 18.02.2015, whereunder petitioner sought for issuance of pattadar passbook. It appears, the matter was enquired and an endorsement was issued to the petitioner by the Tahsildar, Renigunta Mandal, in Roc.C/158/2015, dated 23.05.2015, which was sent by registered post with acknowledgment due, informing the petitioner that pattadar passbooks were already granted to various persons as lands are in their possession and enjoyment as per the village

accounts. It appears, though the petitioner was in receipt of the said endorsement, he did not prefer appeal against the said order. There is no whisper in the Writ Petition in support of the said representation, consideration of the same by the authority and issuance of endorsement. Since endorsement was already issued holding that the petitioner is not entitled to issuance of pattadar passbook, question of filing further application for the same purpose and consideration of such application does not arise. I see no merit in the Writ Petition.

The Writ Petition is accordingly dismissed. There shall be no order as to costs.

Miscellaneous Petitions, if any, pending in the Writ Petition shall stand closed.
