Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Government Pleader for Revenue for respondents. 2.
Petitioner claims to be the owner and in possession of land to an extent of Ac.02-28 guntas in Sy.No.540/41/1B, Ac.2-00 guntas in Sy.No.540/40/3, Ac.03-00 guntas in Sy.No.540/40/2/1, and Ac.03-00 guntas in Sy.No.540/40/2, of Pedavedu Village Mattampally Mandal, Suryapet District. He was issued pattadar pass books and title deeds. Consequent to the exercise undertaken by the Government to revise the revenue records, new pass books were issued to all the patta holders. For the reasons best known, to the respondents, pass books were not issued to the petitioner. Therefore on 28.08.2019, a representation was made by the petitioner to the Tahsildar, requesting to issue new pass books. Alleging inaction on the said representation, this writ petition is filed.

A photocopy of the representation made by the petitioner on 28.08.2019 is filed as Ex.P.1. It is seen that there is endorsement in proof of receipt of such representation.

In view thereof, without expressing any opinion on merits the Writ Petition is disposed of directing the Tahsildar-2nd respondent to consider the representation made by the petitioner for issuance of new pattadar pass books, within a period of six (6) weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order and if petitioner is entitled for issuance of new pass book, the same shall be released within
- 3 - the time stipulated above. Pending miscellaneous petitions, if any, shall stand closed.
