- 2 - THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE P.NAVEEN RAO CONTEMPT CASE No.1712 OF 2017 ORDER :

This contempt case is filed to punish the respondents for wilful and deliberate disobedience of the orders passed by this Court in W.P.M.P.No.19886 of 2017 in W.P.No.16174 of 2017 dated 28.04.2017.

By order dated 28.04.2017 direction was issued to the Commissioner of Health and Family Welfare, to examine the representation dated 17.03.2017 and if the claim ventilated in the said representation is valid for payment of salary, the same shall be released to the petitioners, within a period of eight weeks from the date of the order.

Learned Government pleader produced proceedings of the Commissioner dated 12.09.2017, whereunder, on consideration of the representation, the claim was rejected.

In view of the same, the contempt case is closed, leaving it open to the petitioners to work out their remedies as available in law, if so advised. There shall be no order as to costs. Miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in this contempt case shall stand closed.
