2. It is submitted by the learned counsel for the petitioner that in view of the subsequent developments, the cause in the present writ petition does not survive and it has become infructuous.

3. Recording the said submission, the Writ Petition is dismissed as infructuous. No order as to costs. Miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in this Writ Petition shall stand closed.
