After hearing the learned counsel for the parties, we close this Writ Petition directing the Collector, Machilipatnam, Krishna District to look into the petitioner's representation annexed to the Writ Petition, and on enquiry, if he finds that the statue has been installed in the public road/street illegally, he shall take steps to remove the same in accordance with law, after giving notice to the fifth respondent. This entire exercise shall be completed within a period of six weeks from the date of communication of this order.

Consequently, miscellaneous petitions, if any pending, shall stand dismissed. No order as to costs.
