HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE M.SATYANARAYANA MURTHY Crl.P. No.7548 OF 2018 ORDER:

This criminal petition is filed under Section 482 Cr.P.C. to quash the proceedings in Crime No.44 of 2018 of Chandrayangutta Police Station, Hyderabad, registered for the offences punishable under Section 420 and 506 IPC, on various grounds.

The 1st respondent filed private complaint before the Chief Metropolitan Magistrate, Nampally, Hyderabad and the same was referred to the police exercising power under Section 156(3) Cr.P.C. At the stage of admission, learned Public Prosecutor submitted that the entire investigation is completed and charge sheet is filed under Section 173 Cr.P.C. and the same was registered as C.C.No.358 of 2018 pending for adjudication before the Chief Metropolitan Magistrate, Hyderabad.

Recording the above submission, the criminal petition is dismissed as infructuous. However, the petitioner is at liberty to move appropriate application, if advised, challenging the charge sheet. Pending miscellaneous petitions in the petition, if any, shall stand closed.
