The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that subsequent to the filing of the present writ petition, the second respondent-Gram Panchayat had paid the honorarium that was claimed by the petitioner herein and having regard to the said fact that the cause involved in this writ petition does not survive for adjudication and therefore, it has become infructuous.

Recording the above submission of the learned counsel for the petitioner, the writ petition is closed as infructuous. However, there shall be no order as to costs.
