THE HONOURABLE SRI JUSTICE RAJA ELANGO CRIMINAL PETITION No.10099 of 2015 ORDER:

This Criminal Petition is filed by the petitioners - A1 to A9, under Section 438 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, seeking to grant bail in an unregistered crime, on the file of Women Police Station, Karimnagar or any other police station, which comes under the jurisdiction of the Superintendent of Police, Karimnagar District, on the basis of the compliant given by the de facto complainant. Heard and perused the material available on record. Learned counsel for the petitioners submitted that the marriage between A1 and the de facto complainant was performed in the year 2012 and that on the basis of the complaint lodged by the de facto complainant alleging that all the petitioners harassed her for demand of additional dowry and also necked her out from the matrimonial house, the respondent police are continuously harassing them and threatening them to arrest.

Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, the Criminal Petition is allowed directing the respondent police to release the petitioners - A1 to A9 in the event of their arrest on their executing personal bond for a sum of Rs.5,000/- (Rupees five thousand only) each with one surety for the like sum each to the satisfaction of the SHO concerned, in the event of their arrest.
