THE HONOURABLE SRI JUSTICE U.DURGA PRASAD RAO CRIMINAL PETITION No.3793 of 2013 ORDER:

In this Petition filed under Section 482 Cr.P.C., the petitioners/accused Nos. 1 to 3 seek quashment of the Proceedings in C.C.No.250 of 2010 on the file of II Additional Judicial First Class Magistrate, Kothagudem, Khammam District, wherein they are charged for the offences under Sections 498-A of Indian Penal Code (for short ' IPC') and Sections 3 and 4 of Dowry Prohibition Act (for short 'DP Act').

Today when the matter came up for hearing, learned Public Prosecutor has filed a copy of the Letter dt. 11.01.2016, submitted by Sub Inspector of Police, Palavoncha Town Police Station, Khammam District, stating that C.C.No.250 of 2010 on the file of II Addl. Judicial First Class Magistrate, Kothagudem, was ended in acquittal, as per the judgment dt. 6.08.2014.

In view of the above, this Petition has become infructuous and accordingly, this Criminal Petition is dismissed as infructuous. Consequently, the miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending, in this case, shall stand closed.
