O R D E R

This writ petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to declare the action of respondents in opening and continuing the Rowdy Sheet against the petitioner, though the case in S.C.No.641 of 2013 on the file of IV Additional Metropolitan sessions Judge, Nampally Hyderabad, ended in acquittal on 22.12.2017 and that no other case is pending against him; as illegal, arbitrary and violative of A.P. Police Standing Orders and contrary to the principles of natural justice and consequently direct the respondents to close the said rowdy sheet, duly considering the representation of the petitioner dated 11.01.2018. It is brought to the notice of this court that in similar facts and circumstances in W.P.No.4688/ 2012 dated 16.03.

2017, relying on other judgments, this court gave liberty to the petitioner therein to file explanation / representation within two weeks from the date of the said order and the competent authority, was directed to examine the same and pass appropriate orders. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that since the petitioner has already submitted his representation dated 11.01.2018, the same may be directed to considered and disposed of in accordance with law.

Learned Assistant Government Pleader for Home, does not dispute the same.

Having regard to the facts and circumstances of the case and the submissions of the learned counsel, writ petition is disposed of directing the competent authority to examine the representation dated 11.01.2018

stated to have been made by the petitioner, in the light of the law laid down by this court in W.P.No.4688 of 2012, which was disposed of on 16.03.2017 and in the judgments reported in SUNKARA SATYANARAYANA v. STATE OF ANDHRA PRADESH1 and B.SATYANARAYANA REDDY v. STATE OF ANDHRA PRADESH2, and dispose of the same in accordance with law, within a period of two months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

Interlocutory applications pending, if any, shall stand closed. No costs.
