Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner, and the learned Standing Counsel for the respondents.

This writ petition is filed challenging the action of the respondents in proposing to lay transmission lines through the petitioner's lands situated at Chittoor District. Respondents filed counter affidavit stating that they are erecting transmission lines as per law and if any compensation is due and payable to the petitioner, they would pay the same in accordance with law.

In view of the statement made by the respondents in their counter affidavit, this Writ Petition is disposed of directing the respondents to pay compensation to the petitioner, in accordance with law, within a period of ninety days from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
