This writ petition is filed challenging the action of the respondent authorities in threatening the petitioner and in interfering with his peaceful possession and enjoyment of his house property bearing municipal No.16-6-34, admeasuring about 70 Sq.Yards, situated at Chaderghat locality of Hyderabad.
Heard learned counsel for the petitioner.
Learned Assistant Government Pleader for Home submits that there exists a small piece of land (32.33 square yards) in-front-of petitioner's land which belongs to the Government (police land); that petitioner is trying to occupy the said land; and that petitioner's father has also submitted an application to the Commissioner of Police, requesting to allot the said small piece of land to him at market price. When the learned Government Pleader pointed out the same, learned counsel for the petitioner, he seeks permission to withdraw the writ petition with liberty to avail alternate remedy.
Permission is accorded.
Accordingly, the writ petition is dismissed as withdrawn granting liberty to the petitioner to avail alternate remedy as may be available to him under law. No order as to costs.
