The present writ petition came to be filed seeking issuance of writ of mandamus declaring the action of Hon'ble Upa-Lokayukta for the State of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana at Hyderabad, in passing the impugned order dated 31.03.2015, in the Complaint No.1189/ 2011/ B2, as illegal and arbitrary.

At the time when the matter is taken up for hearing, Sri Y.Ravindra, learned Standing Counsel for the Institution of Lokayukta for the States of Andhra Pradesh and Telengana, states across the Bar that no proceedings are pending before the Lok Ayukta since the complaint is closed as per Rule 5 (8) of Investigating Rules. 4.
At this stage, learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that basing on the impugned order issued by the Hon'ble Lokayukta, a charge memo came to be issued to the petitioner. It is urged that an explanation report has been submitted to the charge memo, pursuant to which, he apprehends that the authorities may take action against him.

Since no action is initiated till date, the petitioner is always at liberty to challenge the same before the concerned authorities, in which event the same shall be dealt with in accordance with law.

Accordingly, the writ petition is disposed of. No costs. 7.
Consequently, miscellaneous petitions, if any pending, shall stand closed.
