HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE ABHINAND KUMAR SHAVILI WRIT PETITION No. 10580 of 2004 ORDER:

This writ petition is filed seeking to issue a writ of mandamus declaring the action of the respondents in terminating the services of the petitioners orally without issuing any notice, as illegal and arbitrary. A consequential direction is also sought to reinstate the petitioners into service.

While admitting the writ petition, this Court directed the respondents to consider the case of the petitioner for reinstatement into service on par with other employees who are the parties in I.D.No.21 of 2001, vide orders dated 25.06.2004 in WPMP No.13418 of 2004 which is made absolute vide orders dated 27.03.2008 in WVMP No.3555 of 2004.

Learned standing counsel for the respondent corporation has submitted that in view of the interim orders, no further orders are necessary in the writ petition.

In view of the above, the writ petition is closed. Consequently, miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in the writ petition shall stand closed. No order as to costs.
