O R D E R

The grievance of the petitioner is that his Maxi Cab vehicle bearing No.AP09-WA-TR-0716 was seized under vehicle check report dated 26.11.2013 and has not been released till date.

According to him, unless the vehicle is released, he would not be in a position to get it registered with the transport authorities and therefore an impasse

has been created whereby he is put to irreparable loss. Learned Assistant Government Pleader for Transport states on instructions that if the petitioner makes a suitable representation, the same would be considered in accordance with the rules.

The writ petition is therefore disposed of permitting the petitioner to make a representation to the Secretary, Regional Transport Authority, Karimnagar District, for release of his Maxi Cab vehicle. The second respondent shall thereupon consider the said application in accordance with the rules and take appropriate action in the matter. All issues are left open and it is open to the authority to apply its mind as per law and take suitable action as deemed fit.
