THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE VILAS V. AFZULPURKAR WRIT PETITION No.2991 OF 2016 ORDER:

Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Government Pleader for Revenue.

The petitioner is stated to have made an application dated 29.08.2015 - Ex.P16, through online, seeking mutation of her name in the revenue records and for issuance of e-patta passbook. The petitioner states that no orders are passed by the Tahsildar, Kurnool Mandal and District, the 4th respondent, on the said application. The petitioner relies upon the letter issued by the Sub-Registrar, Gudur, Kurnool District, certifying that the subject lands in Survey Nos.612, 613 and 621/3 of Ulchala Village, Gudur Sub-Division, Kurnool Mandal and District are not included in the prohibitory list and they are classified as patta lands. Since the petitioner's application for mutation of her name in the revenue records and issuance of pattadar pass book also relates to the aforesaid survey numbers, the 4th respondent is directed to examine said application and pass appropriate orders thereon within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

The Writ Petition is accordingly disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
