ORDER:
This Writ Petition is filed for a Mandamus to declare the action of the respondents in holding elections for the posts of four Directors of the A.P.I.I.C. Employees House Building Mutually Aided Co-Operative Society Limited, in pursuance of notification No.2/2011-APIICMACHS/ELC, dated 01.8.2011, as illegal and arbitrary.
At the hearing, Mr. D.Kanaka Sundar, learned counsel for the petitioner, has not disputed that the period for which the elections for the posts of Directors were
proposed to be held was three years, which has already expired.
In view of this subsequent event, the cause in the Writ Petition does not survive for adjudication. The Writ Petition is, accordingly, dismissed as infructuous.
As a sequel to dismissal of the Writ Petition, WPMP.Nos.28124 of 2011 and 1926 of 2012 are dismissed as infructuous.
