Heard learned counsel for the petitioner, learned Government Pleader for Mines and Geology for respondents 1 to 4, learned Government Pleader for Revenue for respondents 5 and 6, learned Government Pleader for Home for respondent No.7 and Sri R. Vinod Reddy, learned standing counsel for TSNPDCL for respondent No.8.

Petitioner alleges that demand notice dated 06.09.2014 was issued to him and he submitted his explanation to the said notice. Thereafter, the authority concerned kept quiet for long time. It appears, on 26.09.2017, another demand notice was issued to the petitioner, but the same was never served on him. Having come to know about issuance of the said notice, petitioner preferred appeal before the Director of Mines and Geology on 16.12.2019 and also sought for an interlocutory order pending consideration of the appeal. Petitioner now apprehends that by referring to demand notice issued on 06.09.2014, the authority is now ordering for disconnection of power supply and in such an event, grave prejudice would be caused to be petitioner. 3.

A copy of appeal is filed at Page No.66 and interlocutory application is filed at Page No.77 of the writ petition material paper book and receipt of acknowledgement of the said appeal is also on the same day.

In view of the same, the Director of Mines and Geology is directed to dispose of the interlocutory application, stated to have

been filed, within a period of three weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. Till a decision is made by the appellate authority, the power supply shall not be disconnected to the petitioner, if it is not already disconnected. 5.

The Writ Petition is accordingly disposed of. Miscellaneous petitions, if any, shall stand closed.
