Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Standing Counsel appearing for the respondents. The petitioner is a Field Assistant and that on the allegation of certain irregularities committed by the petitioner an enquiry was conducted and the petitioner was terminated from service by the impugned order dated 18.6.2015. Challenging the same, the present writ petition has been filed.

It is brought to the notice of this court by the learned counsel for the petitioner that against the termination order the petitioner has filed appeal to the 4th respondent-appellate authority and no orders have been passed in the said appeal. In view of the above, without going into the merits of the case, the writ petition is disposed of directing the 4th respondentappellate authority to dispose of the appeal within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order. Accordingly, the writ petition is disposed of at the admission stage. No order as to costs.
