THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE CHALLA KODANDA RAM WRIT PETITION No.4305 OF 2017 ORDER:

The grievance of the petitioner is that, in spite of recommendations made by respondent Nos.3 to 5 for grant of additional TFT licence, respondent No.2 is not granting additional TFT licence.

Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Government Pleader for Excise.

Prima facie material filed before this Court, particularly, proceedings of respondent Nos.4 and 5 dated 22.12.2016 and 14.12.2016 respectively disclose that recommendations have been made to grant additional TFT licence to the petitioner. In the circumstances, the Writ Petition is disposed of with a direction to respondent No.2 to pass orders on the application of the petitioner dated 15.11.2016, taking into consideration the recommendations of respondent Nos.3 to 5, strictly in accordance with A.P. Excise (Grant of License to sell toddy, Conditions of licence and Tapping of Excise Trees), Rules, 2007. No order as to costs.

Miscellaneous petitions pending, if any, shall stand closed.
