THE HON'BLE JUSTICE G.SRI DEVI CRIMINAL PETITION No.8704 of 2019 ORDER:
This Criminal Petition under Section 482 of Cr.P.C., is filed by the petitioner/accused seeking to quash the docket order dated 17.10.2019 in Crl.A.No.91 of 2019 on the file of the VII Additional District Judge, Bodhan.

By order dated 17.10.2019, the appellate Court directed the petitioner to deposit 20% of the compensation amount on or before 04.11.2019. However, the petitioner has not deposited the said amount within the stipulated time.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that as the petitioner is suffering from kidney and heart problems, he has not complied with the condition imposed by the appellate Court. He prays to extend the time for deposit of amount as directed by the appellate Court.

Having regard to the facts and circumstances and in the light of the prayer made by the petitioner, 3 weeks time from today is granted to the petitioner/accused for compliance of the order of the appellate Court and no further time will be granted to the petitioner to deposit 20% of the compensation amount as directed by the appellate Court.

Accordingly, the Criminal Petition is disposed of. 6.
Miscellaneous petitions, if any pending in this criminal petition, shall stand closed.
