ORDER

This writ petition is filed challenging the Award dated 11.03.1993 passed in I.D.No.124/92 by the 2nd respondentLabour Court setting aside the order of removal dated 29.3.1986 and directed the 1st respondent-Corporation to reinstate the petitioner into service with continuity of service, but modified the punishment to that of deduction of the increment from the date of suspension till the date of reinstatement.

It appears that the petitioner was kept under suspension on 12.9.1985 and pursuant to the award, he was reinstated into service on 08.02.1994, but the increment during the suspension period was not granted.

Now, it is represented by the learned counsel for the petitioner that the petitioner retired on 30th July, 2013 on attaining the age of superannuation.

In view of the same, the cause of action in this writ petition does not survive for adjudication.
