This criminal petition is filed by the petitioners/A.1 to A.5 & A.7 under Section 482 Cr.P.C seeking to quash the proceedings in C.C.No.166 of 2015 on the file of the XXIII Additional Chief Metropolitan Magistrate, Hyderabad, for the offences punishable under Sections 498-A and 342 IPC and Sections 3 and 4 of the Dowry Prohibition Act, 1961.

Pending the criminal petition, Crl.M.P.No.6900 of 2015 is filed by the 2nd respondent-de facto complainant along with joint memo, seeking permission to compound the criminal case stating that she herself and the 1st petitioner/A.1 are agreed to live together by drowning their case and also for the welfare of their child's future.
