ORDER

This Writ Petition is filed seeking to declare the action of the 2nd respondent in suspending the petitioner v i d e proceedings dated 15.04.2015, as arbitrary and illegal.

The petitioner was appointed as Conductor in the respondent-Corporation on 1.8.2000. While so, disciplinary proceedings were initiated against the petitioner on the ground that he attended the duty after consuming alcohol. Charge was framed against the petitioner, for which, he submitted his explanation. But without considering the same, the respondentCorporation suspended the petitioner vide proceedings dated 14.05.2015. After conducting enquiry, the Enquiry Officer submitted his report dated 31.07.2015 and objections were called for and the petitioner submitted his objections.

Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that employees of the same depot, who faced the similar charge, have been reinstated into service. In any event, as the enquiry report has been received by the disciplinary authority, the 2nd

respondent-Depot Manager, Alipiri Depot, Tirupati, is directed to pass final order within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. Accordingly, the Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.

Miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in this writ petition shall stand closed.
