THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE T.VINOD KUMAR WRIT PETITION No.28732 OF 2019 ORDER:
The present Writ Petition is filed to declare the action of respondent No.3 in interfering with the civil dispute by making phone calls to the petitioners to come to police station and threatening to register criminal cases, as being illegal, contrary to law.
Heard Sri M. Arvind, learned Counsel for the petitioner and learned Assistant Government Pleader for Home. Learned Assistant Government Pleader for Home, on instructions dated 27.12.2019, while denying the allegation with regard to police interfering in the civil dispute of the petitioner at any point of time, submits that a case is registered against the petitioner in Crime No.621 of 2019 under Sections 420, 506 read with 34 IPC, basing on the complaint of the 5th respondent in the present Writ Petition, wherein, the petitioners herein are arrayed as accused Nos.1 to 3. Learned Assistant Government Pleader further submits that the respondent authorities, except doing investigation in the above said crime, are not interfering in the civil disputes of the petitioners.
Having regard to the said submission made on behalf of the 3rd respondent authority, no further orders are required to be passed in the present Writ Petition, except observing that the authorities while investigating into the Crime No.621 of 2019, shall act in accordance with law.
Subject to the above, the Writ Petition is closed. No order as to costs.
As a sequel thereto, miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending shall stand closed.
