THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE SANJAY KUMAR WRIT PETITION No. 39210 of 2015 ORDER:
The prayer of the petitioner in this case is as under: "The Hon'ble Court may be pleased to issue writ or direction preferably writ of mandamus declaring the action of the Respondent No.2 in cancelling the licence of the Manufacturing Unit of the Petitioner through Proceedings No.
LDC/C4/M/926/2015, dated 26-10-2015 and seizing the Manufacturing Unit situated at survey No.64/4, Jaggammagaripeta, H/o Hussainpuram Grampanchayathi limits, Samalkot Mandal, East Godavari District is illegal, arbitrary and violative of principles of the natural justice and consequently direct the Respondent No.2 to restore the Licence No. /2007 issued in favour of the petitioner in the interest of justice, and pass such other further order or orders as this Hon'ble court deems fit and proper in the circumstances of the case" 2.
Sri Sreenivasa Rao Ravulapati, learned counsel for the petitioner, submits that after the institution of this writ petition the petitioner filed an appeal before the District Collector, East Godavari District, under the proceedings of the Explosives Act, 1984 and that the same is pending.

In the light of the statutory remedy availed by the petitioner, adjudication of this matter on merits is no longer warranted.
The writ petition is accordingly closed leaving it open to the petitioner to pursue his remedies in accordance with law. Pending miscellaneous petitions, if any, shall also stand closed in the light of this final order. No order as to costs.
