HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE U.DURGA PRASAD RAO WRIT PETITION No.10957 OF 2009 ORDER:

The petitioners seek writ of Mandamus declaring the action of the respondent in deducting the crop insurance premium from the crop loans of the petitioner' society released and to be released to the members of the petitioners society at the rate of 1% to 12% towards crop insurance premium in the Kharif and Rabi seasons 2009-2010 as illegal, arbitrary, violation of provisions of Constitution of India, Contract Act and declare the same as optional and pass such other orders.

When the matter is called, learned counsel for petitioners submits that the subject matter in the writ petition has become infructuous since the relief sought for in the present writ petition is pertaining to the crop period for the years 2009-2010, which was over long back. 3.

Recording the said submission, this writ petition is dismissed as infructuous. As a sequel, miscellaneous petitions pending, if any, shall stand closed. There shall be no order as to costs.
