This petition is filed for a writ of Mandamus declaring the action of the 4th respondent in not issuing the Pattadar Passbook and Title deed in favour of the petitioner in respect of the land in Sy.No.677/1, 677/2 and 678, admeasuring Ac.9.59 cents, Ac.11.60 cents and Ac.7.71 cents, situated at Ankireddipalem Village, Guntur Mandal, Guntur District, though the petitioner submitted application and got issued a legal notice, as illegal and arbitrary and for a consequential direction to the respondents to forthwith issue Pattadar Pass Book and Title Deed in respect of the above said lands duly conducting the survey.

The case of the petitioner is that he has purchased an extent of land in Sy.No.677/1, 677/2 and 678, admeasuring Ac.9.59 cents, Ac.11.60 cents and Ac.7.71 cents at Ankireddipalem Village, Guntur Mandal, Guntur District, and submitted an application on 01.07.2014 in prescribed proforma before the 4th respondent for grant of Pattadar Pass book and title deeds in respect of the aforesaid lands. Since the 4th respondent did not respond to the application of the petitioner, he got issued a legal notice dated 12.07.2013 to the 4th respondent. As no action has been taken, present writ petition is filed.

Heard learned counsel for the petitioner as well as learned Assistant Government Pleader for Revenue.

Since it is stated that application submitted by the petitioner for grant Pattadar Pass Book and Title Deed is pending before the

4th respondent, it is for the 4th respondent to dispose of the same. In view of the same, the 4th respondent is directed to dispose of the application said to have been filed by the petitioner on 01.07.2014, in accordance with law. No order as to costs. As a sequel thereto, miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending, shall stand closed.
