Heard.

Petitioner is under suspension from service. Alleging prolong suspension, petitioner filed appeal before the Principal Secretary, Home Department (1st respondent) on 06.03.2017. Alleging inaction on the said appeal filed by the petitioner, this writ petition is filed.

Since the petitioner has already filed appeal aggrieved by the order of suspension before the 1st respondent, this Court is not inclined to entertain the writ petition and keep the writ petition pending.

Accordingly, the Writ Petition is disposed of, directing the Principal Secretary, Home Department (1st respondent) to consider the appeal filed by the petitioner and pass orders as warranted by law, as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period of six

(6) weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order. There shall be no order as to costs.

Miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in this writ petition shall stand closed.
