THE HON'BLE THE ACTING CHIEF JUSTICE RAMESH RANGANATHAN AND THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE A. SHANKAR NARAYANA Writ Petition No.11189 of 2010 Order: (Per the Hon'ble The Acting Chief Justice Ramesh Ranganathan) The validity of Andhra Pradesh Ordinance No. 5 of 2010 is questioned in this writ petition.

The said Ordinance was replaced by Act 11 of 2010. The petitioner has not taken any steps to amend the prayer in the writ petition. As the Ordinance does not survive after Act 11 of 2010 came into force, the cause in the writ petition does not survive, necessitating any adjudication by this Court. The writ petition fails and is, accordingly, dismissed. The miscellaneous petitions pending, if any, shall also stand dismissed. There shall be no order as to costs.
