HONOURABLE SRI JUSTICE CHALLA KODANDA RAM WRIT PETITION No. 27383 of 2017 ORDER:

The relief sought for in this Writ Petition is to declare the action of respondent Nos. 3 and 4, in calling the petitioners to the police station without registration of any crime, as being illegal and arbitrary.

Learned Government Pleader for Home (AP), on instructions, would submit that Crime No.22 of 2017 was registered on 08.04.2017, and petitioner No.2 was arrayed as accused No.1 and petitioner No.1 was arrayed as accused No.2; investigation is in progress; petitioners are absconding; and, only to avoid arrest, they approached this Court.

Recording the submission of the learned Government Pleader for Home, the Writ Petition is closed. However, it is left open to the petitioners to avail remedies under Cr.P.C. Miscellaneous Petition, if any, shall stand closed. However, in the circumstances, without costs.
