THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE P.NAVEEN RAO W.P.NO.10507 OF 2017

O R D E R

2nd respondent issued notification on 27.12.2013 inviting applications through on-line for recruitment to the post of Village Revenue Assistants. Minimum qualification prescribed was S.S.C. Petitioner responded to the said notification. In the written examination conducted, petitioner secured 34 marks and claimed that he stood No.1 in the combined merit list. He was asked to attend for verification of certificates. Accordingly, he attended before the 3rd respondent on 18.4.2015 for verification of certificates. Certificates were verified and the petitioner was informed that appointment order would be issued in due course. However, so far, no further intimation is received by the petitioner. Ventilating his grievance, he submitted representation on 6.3.2017. Alleging inaction on the said representation, present writ petition is filed.

Since the representation filed by the petitioner is stated to be pending, without expressing any opinion on merits, the writ petition is disposed of directing the 3rd respondent - Sub-Collector-cum-Revenue Divisional Officer, to consider the representation of the petitioner and communicate the

decision taken, as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. If on verification it is found that the petitioner was selected, but erroneously order of appointment was not issued, the 3rd respondent shall take immediate steps to issue order of appointment. The writ petition is accordingly disposed of. No costs. Miscellaneous petitions pending if any, shall stand closed. ------------------------------ P.NAVEEN RAO,J DATE:17-04-2017 AVS
