THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTI CE T.VI NOD KUMAR WRI T PETI TI ON No.28748 of 2009 ORDER:

The present writ petition is filed questioning the action of respondent No.3 in threatening and harassing the petitioners on the basis of false complaint of respondent No.4, as being illegal, arbitrary and unconstitutional.

Heard learned counsel for the petitioners and learned Assistant Government Pleader for Home.

Learned Assistant Government Pleader, on written instructions dated 26.12.2019, submits that, based on the complaint of one Surapu Rani, who is respondent No.4 in the present writ petition, to the Station House Officer, WPS, Warangal, on 12.02.2018, stating that she got married on 20.03.2016 with the first petitioner herein and after marriage her husband harassed her physically and mentally and further her brotherin-law also harassed her, a G.D. entry was made and since the matter pertains to family issue, counselling was done on 21.02.2018 and on which date, the next date of counselling was given on 24.02.2018. It is stated that on 24.02.2018, the petitioners did not approach the Station House Officer and thus, the Station House Officer issued notice to the petitioners to attend the counselling on 09.04.2018, but the petitioners did not appear for counselling.

By the aforesaid written instructions, learned Assistant Government Pleader, while denying the allegation made in the writ petition that the third respondent is threatening and harassing the petitioners on false complaint, submits that only for the purpose of counseling, based on the complaint of respondent No.4, the petitioners were called to the police

station and no case is registered against the petitioners before the said authority.

Having regard to the said submissions made on behalf of the official respondents, no further orders need to be passed in this writ petition.

Accordingly, the Writ Petition is closed.

Pending miscellaneous petitions, if any, shall also stand dismissed. No order as to costs.
