JUDGMENT:
This appeal arises out of the order, dated 17.02.2007, in W.C.No.122 of 2005 on the file of the Commissioner for Workmen's Compensation and Assistant Commissioner of Labour - I, Hyderabad.
The Registry has placed before the Court award, dated 20.11.2014, of the Lok Adalat held at Hyderabad, a perusal of which shows that the respondents - claimants have agreed to forego Rs.50,000/- without interest from out of the compensation of Rs.3,47,147/-, which was agreed to by the appellant. The Lok Adalat accordingly passed the award holding that the appellant is entitled to get refund of Rs.50,000/- without any interest and the respondents - claimants are entitled to a sum of Rs.2,97,147/- and the interest accrued on Rs.3,47,147/-. The Lok Adalat accordingly settled the dispute in the above terms.
In view of the aforesaid settlement, the Civil Miscellaneous Appeal is disposed of as infructuous.
As a sequel to disposal of the civil miscellaneous appeal, interim stay granted on 26.04.2007 in C.M.A.M.P.No.769 of 2007 is vacated and C.M.A.M.P.Nos.769 of 2007 for stay shall stand disposed of as infructuous. __________________________ (C.V.NAGARJUNA REDDY, J) 01st April, 2015 GHN
