Heard Mr.V.S.R.Anjaneyulyu, holding for Mr.V.Satyanaraya Prasad, counsel for petitioner, and Assistant Government Pleader for Revenue.

The petitioner prays for the following relief: ...."this Hon'ble Court may be pleased to issue a writ, order or direction particularly one in the nature of writ of Mandamus directing the respondent No.2 to consider the application dated 16.03.2017 and decide the same in accordance with law, within a time bound programme, declaring his inaction as illegal and violative of Articles 14 and 21 of the Constitution of India and pass such other..." It is the case of petitioner that he filed an application on 16.03.2017 before 2nd respondent for grant of ryotwari patta in his favour. As of now, no action has been taken by 2nd respondent on his application. The respondents have not filed counter affidavit. Without entering into merits of the case, the writ petition is disposed of by this order:

(a) the petitioner is given liberty to re-submit the application dated 16.03.2017 by enclosing a copy of this order within four weeks from today; and (b) the respondents are directed to dispose of the application of petitioner dated 16.03.2017 within eight weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order.

There shall be no order as to costs.
