Heard learned counsel for petitioner and learned Government Pleader for Revenue.

According to petitioner, in the year 1960 her husband late Achayya was assigned Government land to an extent of Ac.5.00 in survey no. 817, Palvancha village and mandal, Bhadradri Kothagudem district and he has been cultivating the same and after his death, petitioner is in possession and cultivating the said land. Petitioner applied for mutation of her name in the revenue records in place of her husband and to issue pattadar pass books and title deeds. Alleging inaction on the said application, this writ petition is filed.

From the material placed on record, it appears that in response to the application made to the Tahsildar, no reply was given to the petitioner, as such, she has submitted an application to the District Collector and District Collector vide his proceedings dated 23.8.2019 directed the 3rd respondent Tahsildar to look into the grievance of the petitioner and submit report. On 16.9.2019 the Revenue Divisional Officer also issued similar directions. In spite of directions of the higher authorities so far no action is taken.

The relevant correspondence is placed on record. Having regard to the same, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the matter, third respondent Tahsildar is directed to attend to the grievance of the petitioner regarding mutation of her name in revenue records in place of her husband in terms of the directions issued by District

collector on 23.8.2019 and Revenue Divisional Officer dated 16.9.2019 and pass appropriate orders within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order.
