Heard the learned Counsel for the petitioners and none appeared for the respondents.

This Writ Petition was filed challenging Memo No.B2/5771/2002, dated 13.05.2003. In the said Memo dated 13.05.2003 the request of the petitioners for rectification and deletion of entry "G-Abadi" in Town Survey Land Record in Column Nos.10 and 20 pertaining to T.S.No.138, Block-K, Ward 38 of Mallepally Village of Asifnagar Mandal and for inclusion of their names was rejected. The petitioners claim inclusion of their names on the basis of the judgment in O.P.No.456 of 1989 and of the judgment in L.G.A.No.19 of 1998 passed by the Special Tribunal under the Andhra Pradesh Land Grabbing (Prohibition) Act, 1982. It was held that the judgment of the Special Tribunal does not disclose that their mother was the title holder and the Town Survey Land Register cannot be corrected until a decree is passed by the civil Court. The petitioners failed to show any provision of law under which they are entitled for correction of the entries in the town survey land records without a decree from the competent civil Court.

In the circumstances, I do not see any ground to interfere with the Memo passed by the third respondent and the Writ Petition is, accordingly, dismissed. The miscellaneous petitions pending, if any, shall stand closed. There shall be no order as to costs.
