THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE A.RAMALINGESWARA RAO WRIT PETITION NO.19821 OF 2009 ORDER:

This writ petition is filed challenging the inaction of the respondents in paying the bills of the petitioner as mentioned in his representation, dated 06-08-2009.

This Court vide order, dated 17-09-2009 directed the respondents to release the payment of amounts undisputed under the pending bills of the petitioner, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of the order.

A counter-affidavit is filed stating that immediately after receipt of the said order, the bills were paid for an amount of Rs.6,50,133/- on 22-06-2010 and another sum of Rs.60,119/- on 28-072010 by way of cheques to the petitioner and the petitioner acknowledged the same. He also issued acknowledgement receipts after taking the amount in full and final settlement of the claim. In view of the same, nothing survives for consideration in the present writ petition. It is needless to say that if the petitioner has any claim, it is open to him to take appropriate proceedings in accordance with law against the respondents.

4. Accordingly, the writ petition is closed. No order as to costs. Miscellaneous petitions, if any pending in this writ petition shall stand closed.
