It is stated by learned counsel for the petitioner that in similar circumstances, Division Bench of this Court disposed of WP.No.25642 of 2017 on 02-08-2017. The same is not disputed by learned Government Pleader Services and Sri Chatla Madhu, learned counsel appearing for the 2nd respondent.

In view of the same, following the same, the writ petition is disposed of directing the respondents to consider the case of the petitioner for promotion, as and when Departmental Promotion Committee is constituted, without reference to the charges framed against him, but, however, subjecting such promotion to the outcome of the pending departmental proceedings. As a sequel to the disposal of this petition, miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending shall stand closed.
