ORAL ORDER:

Petitioner is suspended from service by order of the Assistant Commissioner of Endowments dated 17.1.2017. Challenging the said order of suspension, petitioner availed the remedy of appeal before the Commissioner by filing appeal on 17.3.2017, but so far said appeal is not disposed of. A bare perusal of the material papers enclosed to the writ petition would show that there is no acknowledgment of filing such appeal. Without going into the merits of the matter, writ petition is disposed of permitting the petitioner to send copy of the appeal stated to have been filed on 17.3.2017 by registered post within one week to the appellate authority and the Appellate Authority is directed to examine the claim of the petitioner in the appeal filed and take a decision within a period of four weeks thereon and communicate the decision to the petitioner. No costs. Having regard to the same, miscellaneous petitions, if any pending, are closed.
