THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE T.VINOD KUMAR WRIT PETITION No.28889 OF 2019 ORDER:

The present Writ Petition is filed questioning the action of the 3rd respondent authority in calling the petitioner to police station to settle the unlawful claim of R-4 and R-5, as being illegal, arbitrary and vioaltive of principles of natural justice. Heard Sri P. Srihari Nath, learned Counsel for the petitioner and learned Assistant Government Pleader for Home. Learned Assistant Government Pleader for Home, on instructions, submits that a crime was registered against the petitioner vide Crime No.284 of 2019 and the authorities in connection with the investigation into the above case, had called the petitioner to the police station.

Learned Counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has approached this Court under Section 482 Cr.P.C. against the said crime wherein this Court directed the respondent authorities to follow the procedure laid down in Arnesh Kumar v. State of Bihar1.

Having regard to the orders passed by this Court and since the authorities are directed to follow the procedure in accordance with law, no further orders are necessary in the present Writ Petition.

Accordingly, the Writ Petition is closed. No orders as to costs.

As a sequel thereto, miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending shall stand closed.
