Heard the learned counsel for the petitioners and the learned Public Prosecutor.

2. The present Criminal Petition came to be filed under Sections 437 and 439 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973, by the petitioners/A.1 to A.3 seeking enlargement on bail in Crime No.1 of 2016 of Pedabayalu Police Station, Visakhapatnam District, registered for the offence punishable under Section 20(b) (i) of the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act, 1985 (for short, 'NDPS Act').

3. The case of the prosecution is that on credible information, the Inspector of Police, while conducting vehicle check, intercepted a lorry in which the petitioners were travelling. On search, they found 644 Kgs., of Ganja. On interrogation, the accused confessed about the commission of offence. Basing on these allegations, the present case came to be registered.

4. Earlier, this Court by its order dated 09.02.2016 dismissed the bail application in Criminal Petition No.1178 of 2016. Having regard to the fact that there are no changed circumstances in the case either in fact or in law from the date of dismissal of the earlier petition by this Hon'ble Court; and as the Court is not satisfied that there are reasonable grounds for believing that the petitioners were not guilty of such offence and that they are not likely to commit any offence while on bail, I am not inclined to grant bail to the petitioners.
