ORDER:
The owners of the lorries bearing registration Nos.AP 02 TA 0144 and AP 31 TA 2626 filed this writ petition feeling aggrieved by the seizure of the said vehicles on 27.12.2015 by respondent No.2 for transporting sand without permit.
The grievance of the petitioners is that though they are willing to pay the prescribed penalty as per G.O.Ms.No.95, Industries & Commerce (Mines-IV) Department, dated 28.08.2014, respondent No.2 has not been receiving their application for release of the seized vehicles.
In the light of the innocuous grievance of the petitioners, respondent No.2 is directed to receive the petitioners' application, if and when submitted, and dispose of the same, in accordance with the aforesaid G.O., within a period of three days of receipt thereof. As a sequel to disposal the writ petition, W.P.M.P.No.200 of 2016 filed by the petitioners for interim relief shall stand disposed of as infructuous.
