Petitioner was removed from service of the State of Andhra Pradesh as Sub-Registrar, Grade - II, by order dated 01.08.2015. Aggrieved thereby, he claimed to have preferred appeal before the Commissioner and Inspector General of Registration and Stamps, the 2nd respondent. Alleging inaction in disposing of the appeal, petitioner filed O.A.No.3799 of 2016 before the Andhra Pradesh Administrative Tribunal (Tribunal), Hyderabad. By order dated 26.09.2016, the Tribunal disposed of the O.A., directing the 2nd respondent to dispose of the appeal filed by the petitioner within a period of six months from the date of receipt of copy of the order. Alleging inaction in disposing of the said appeal, this Writ Petition is filed.

Petitioner was an employee of the State of Andhra Pradesh and his grievance is against dismissal from service and non-consideration of his appeal. Therefore, he has to avail appropriate remedy as available under the Administrative Tribunals Act, 1985 (for short, 'the Act'). The Tribunal is competent to seek enforcement of the directions issued by it and provisions are available in the Act as well as in the Rules framed thereunder to file appropriate application for implementation of the directions issued. Therefore, this Writ Petition is not maintainable.

The Writ Petition is accordingly dismissed granting liberty to the petitioner to avail appropriate remedy available under the Act. There shall be no order as to costs.
Miscellaneous Petitions, if any, pending in this Writ Petition shall stand closed.
