The Hon'ble Sri Justice A.Shankar Narayana Civil Miscellaneous Appeal No.845 of 2012 Judgment:

The present Civil Miscellaneous Appeal was referred to the Lok Adalat by Order, dated 11-07-2017.

A perusal of the record shows that the matter has been settled before the Lok Adalat vide award, dated 09-09-2017, for a sum of Rs.75,000/- towards full and final settlement of all the claims against the respondents and recording that in the event of default, the agreed amount shall carry interest @ 12% p.a., from the date of default. Six weeks' time was granted for depositing the amount settled under the award. Since the award constitutes a decree, the present Civil Miscellaneous Appeal is disposed of in terms of the award passed by the Lok Adalat.
